TALK ABOUT INTEGRITY...

Hello Les Amis :))

Feel like talking a lot about integrity. It seems like a lot of people lack it.

The other day I had to wait for a friend at the super market. It was annoying 'cos I waited for 45 minutes and every time I called her, she told me she was almost there....for 45 minutes?

The other day I was in the bus and apparently this Oga was in the bus shouting at someone on the other line....'Oh, don't come today, I'm in Benin right now' and I was like 'What?'

A lack of integrity can even be seen in some Police authorities...you see them stop a lot of people on the road (sometimes wrongfully), but rather than do the right thing, they say 'Oga, abeg if you no wan go Police station, drop something'...
Even at the workplace, sometimes jobs/promotions are given, not to the most qualified, but based on 'who you know?'

I'm not perfect and all...but honestly I wish everyone had a lil integrity...you know, keeping to promises and STOPPING the eye service...

Here are some quotes on integrity that I love:

“If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he

treats his inferiors, not his equals.” ― J.K. Rowling

“If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything.”

― Malcolm X

“Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be

trusted with important matters” ― Albert Einstein

“In the end you should always do the right thing even if it's hard.”

― Nicholas Sparks

“Integrity is telling myself the truth. And honesty is telling the truth

to other people.” ― Spencer Johnson

“If it is not right do not do it; if it is not true do not say it.”  ―

Marcus Aurelius

"It is not what we profess but what we do that gives us Integrity"- Sir Francis Bacon

So, the next time you are given the choice to be good or not, even if its difficult, what would your choice be?

Before you make a promise, be sure you will do it, if not DON'T...

Be true to yourself, be honest, be upright, be decent in your dealings with others and never compromise on God. Do what you say you will do...

Have a belle weekend....
