PHENOMENAL WOMAN :-))

Hopefully it's not too late to wish all the women a happy women's day....

My love to all the women in the world (Don't worry guys, your day is coming...).

Women are incredibly phenomenal, strong and beautiful. They strive for the best  and reach it. They go beyond boundaries no matter their colour, skills and class. They support their man, care for their children and look out for the world.

Women are exceptional....

I really love this poem by Teresa...

The beauty of a woman
Is not in the clothes she wears,
The figure that she carries,
Or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart,
The place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole
But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
The passion that she shows,
And the beauty of a woman
With passing years only grows!

I totally agree with Theresa, we are special and our beauty grows as the years passes on...

    1. To my dearest AnneMarie(favourite gossip in town, hehehe)....I'm so sorry for not including that...

FOR COLORED GIRLS...": Act One Scene One

      dark phases of womanhood
of never havin been a girl
      half notes scattered
      distraught laughter fallin
      over a black girl's shoulder
      it's funny/it's hysterical
      the melody-less-ness of her dance
      don't tell nobody
      don't tell a soul
she's dancin on beer cans & shingles
this must be the spook house
      another song with no singers
      lyrics/no voices
      & interrupted solos
      unseen performances
      are we ghouls?
      children of horror?
      the joke?
      don't tell nobody
      don't tell a soul
      are we animals?
      have we gone crazy?
      i can't hear anythin
      but maddening screams
& the soft strains of death
      & you promised me
      you promised me...
      somebody/anybody
      sing a black girl's song
      bring her out
      to know herself
      to know you
      but sing her rhythms
      carin/struggle/hard times
      sing her song of life
      she's been dead so long
      closed in silence so long
      she doesn't know the sound
      of her own voice
      her infinate beauty
      she's half-notes scattered
      without rhythm/no tune
      sing her sighs
sing the song of her possibilities
      sing a righteous gospel
      let her be born
      let her be born
      & handled warmly.

      Hope your are happy now...hugsssssssssss
