NO ARMS, NO LEGS, NO LIMITS :)

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii J

Hope you slept well?
Didn’t sleep much last night but I guess it was worth it ‘cos between meditating and seeing tweets on the Golden Globe, one tweet that stood out for me was the one by my ‘super-duper-cute-angelic-amazing-treasure’ cousin, Kelechi, on watching Oprah Life class showing Pastor Rick Warren and Nick Vujicic.

Ok, was too lazy to watch it but decided to check it during lunch break at work and Now, I feel so inspired (A freak for all things Inspirational). Glad I watched it.

Blessing GOD for gifting us with Nick Vujicic and thought I wrote about him here on bloggie .^-^.

Oprah was right when she said ‘If you got a complaint on your tongue, Shut your mouth and keep watching’.

(Watch the video below and be inspired by one of the blessed people to ever exists and HE HAS NO ARMS AND LEGS.....)

be thankful for what i do have” - Nick Vijucic

HIS STORY
The eldest child of his family, Nick Vujicic was born in BrisbaneAustralia. He was limbless, missing both arms at shoulder level, as well as legs. Where legs are located, he has a small foot with two toes. Initially, his parents were devastated, though Vujicic was otherwise healthy.

Originally prohibited by Victoria state law from attending a mainstream school because of his physical disability, even though he was not mentally impaired, Vujicic became one of the first disabled students integrated into a mainstream school once the laws changed.

Being bullied at school for his limbless disability, Vujicic grew depressed and by the age of eight, contemplated suicide. At age ten he tried to drown himself, but did not go through with it out of love for his parents. After praying to grow arms and legs, Vujicic eventually realised that his accomplishments could inspire others and became grateful for his life. A key turning point came when his mother showed him a newspaper article about a man dealing with a severe disability. Vujicic realized he wasn't unique in his struggles and began to embrace his.
He began to master the daily tasks of life. He learned to write using the two toes on his left foot with a special grip that slid onto his big toe. He learned to use a computer and type using the "heel and toe" method. He learned to throw tennis balls, play drum pedals, get a glass of water, comb his hair, brush his teeth, answer the phone and shave.
In Year 7 he was elected captain of his school and worked with the student council on fundraising events for local charities and disability campaigns. When he was seventeen, he started to give talks at his prayer group, and eventually started his non-profit organization, Life Without Limbs.

Vujicic wrote that he keeps a pair of shoes in his closet, due to his belief in miracles.
In 2005 Vujicic was nominated for the Young Australian of the Year Award.
Vujicic currently lives in Los Angeles, California, USA. On 12 February 2012, he married his fiancĂ©e, Kanae Miyahara. In August 2012, it was revealed that Kanae and Nick are expecting their first child. He has two siblings, Michelle Vujicic and Aaron Vujicic.

you're not worth anything.”

The next time you are sad, you've lost hope, and going  through some pity-party, or overwhelmed, remember this amazing guy and the one who loves us, Jehovah :)

Also, check out his website, life without limbs, for more inspirational/ God filled word.

I don't how life is without arms and legs but it's nice too see someone without those enjoying the best of life and spreading HOPE and GOD :)

It's nice to see someone without all of life's 'necessities' still loving and living and serving us and GOD and it makes me wonder, Why the craziness in the world?

“Life without limbs? Or life without limits?”

Love a lot. Hope Nicks story inspires you like it did for me.

We are fearfully and wonderfully made- Psalm 139:14
