WHEN THE STORY ENDS....

............

One day I will be no more,
Sad...Really Sad...but it's true.
One day, that inevitable reality will catch up with me...
and give me no chance to do all I want to do...

I wish it will..I wish it'd give me one second to say I love you, or see that face or wipe that tear or feel missed...
But Mr. Death, mean as He comes, I don't know....

All I know is ...Now..right Now...I am alive...

I am alive to say I love you, and see that face, and wipe that tear, and miss in return.
I am alive to say kind words, and walk the talk, and be a rainbow.
I am alive to feel new love, and heal broken hearts, and say thank you.
I am alive to play, stand  in the sun and dance in the rain.

I am alive to think again, and create again, and breathe again.
I am alive to make someone live because I am living
I am alive to create memories, one that summarizes my legacy,

So when death comes and life's story ends..
People will laugh 'cos I laughed,
People will believe 'cos I believed,
People will live 'cos I lived...
lived life to the fullest.

MY MASTERPIECE!

I absolutely love this poem written by my good friend, Adewole Adekola..... You?

MY MASTERPIECE!

As today I open a new chapter,
Redefining now and hereafter,

I’ve decided not to be to others’ thought servile,
And against none to hold neither vile nor bile,

But to daily spread across the miles,
Ceaseless bliss and heartfelt smiles,

While with all to live in peace,

And to make each day my masterpiece.

- The End
By Adewole Adekola

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND

I love this poem and its beautiful reminder.....

Google Images

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND

One night I dreamed I was walking
along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed that
during the low periods of my life, when I was
suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord,"You promised me
Lord, that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods
of my life there have only been
one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?"
The Lord replied,
"The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints,
is when I carried you."

Afterthought: .....God you did everything you promised....Now I stroll at leisure with God in the sunlit fields of life.......(Psalms 56)

Grace.

Hello Mes Amis

One of the many thing I'm grateful for is GRACE....You?

It's not easy being 'Human' and serving God (Speaking honestly).
It's like you are in this big battle where you are trying to fight off all the crazy demons in your life and when you fail/ fall, you hear them say 'Oh! Why did you do this-I thought you were a child of God?

I love God. I love pleasing Him but most importantly, I'm glad that He promises to strengthen us when we are weak, and I'm glad that He's provided us with more than enough 'GRACE'/ abundant love when we falter.

I'm so grateful for His Grace :))

And I'm slowly learning to show that same grace to others. To love others even when I don't feel like and to ask for strength and grace when I'm lacking it :)

Grace is truly a precious gift. What do you think?

I love this poem by James L. A. Huetson

Grace and Mercy

Grace is when I get what I haven’t earned.
Mercy is when I don’t get what I deserve.
Grace is when I wake up in the early morn,
And hear the birds sing and calm every nerve.

Mercy is when I haven’t lost another friend
By operating my mouth without a caring thought.
Being given a new beginning instead of a sorry end.
When I have no regrets for not doing what I ought.

Grace is sitting in the beauty of a valley,
Looking up at the hills covered with summer browning.
Knowing that they are not hills at all
But are at the edge of a prairie with wheat fields growing.

Mercy lies in the real life fact
I could not hear the birds and their beautiful singing.
Without a stranger performing the act
That constructed the aids to give me my hearing.

Then I was able to see the hills so beautifully glowing
With the white-capped Snake River so gorgeous and vital.
Mercy then provided a surgeon capable and knowing
To remove cataracts giving me vision clear and total.

I have Mercy and Grace beyond my deserving.
There is vision and hearing when both were gone.
My Spirit with gratitude doth both pray and sing,
To the Love of the Universe that goes on and on.

Song of the day: This is God by Hillsong

'Your Grace is enough, More than I need'. Thank you God....

Oh sweet sweet grace :)
Enjoy the rest of your day.....

XOXO

Someone Somewhere

Hello Dear :)

How is it going with you?

(Big sigh!!!!) It's sad that the war in Syria hasn't ended. I wonder how the people there and in other war-torn zones are coping.
My friend and I were watching CNN the other day and seeing the refugees live in inhumane conditions made me realise how much I love my family, my home and little bed. The freedom too.
We were so sad to see that the Syrian situation hasn't changed much. Everyday, men, women and children are leaving their homes and all they have acquired to other countries for their safety.

I don't know where they get their strength from, but everyday I wish them well. I've also learnt to COUNT MY BLESSINGS and also encouraging you to do the same.

We all have our unique wars. It might not be as big as the other persons but it's a thorn in our flesh all the same. I'm praying for you that you overcome your challenges....

Like my friend says 'It might be not be a good day but it's not a bad life either' :)

I'm in love with the poem below and I hope encourages just like I was encouraged :))

SOMEONE SOMEWHERE

Sometime In Life We Feel So Blue,
But Someone Somewhere Is Not Happy As You

Somewhere Far At The Border When A Soldier Sleeps,
Missing His Loved Ones, He Silently Weeps

Somewhere A Mother Painfully Sighs,
Because Her New Born Baby Didn’t Open Her Eyes

Somewhere A Poor Dad Silently Cries,
When He Sees His Son Begging For A Bowl Of Rice

Somewhere In An Orphanage A Little Girl Is Sad,
When She Misses Her Mom & Dad

So At Times A Reason To Smile You May Not Have Any,
Say To Yourself That You Are Happier Than Many

Because Life Is Beautiful & It Is Not Always Blue,
Someone Somewhere Is Not As Happy As You

I FEARED......

Took  this a while back.  It was morning, on my way to work, the sun was setting , a bird took my eyes to the sky and I thought 'THIS IS BEAUTIFUL'. And I went click click on my phone and .....Voila. You like?

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How are you doing?
Don’t know if you've seen this poem. Read it the other day while surfing the web and I thought it’s worth sharing J . Kudos to the poet!!!!!!!!!
I FEARED BEING ALONE
I feared being alone
until I learned to like
myself.

I feared failure
until I realized that I only
fail when I don't try.

I feared success
until I realized
that I had to try
in order to be happy
with myself.

I feared people's opinions
until I learned that
people would have opinions
about me anyway.

I feared rejection
until I learned to
have faith in myself.

I feared pain
until I learned that
it's necessary
for growth.

I feared the truth
until I saw the
ugliness in lies.

I feared life
until I experienced
its beauty.

I feared death
until I realized that it's
not an end, but a beginning.

I feared my destiny,
until I realized that
I had the power to change
my life.

I feared hate
until I saw that it
was nothing more than
ignorance.

I feared love
until it touched my heart,
making the darkness fade
into endless sunny days.

I feared ridicule
until I learned how
to laugh at myself.

I feared growing old
until I realized that
I gained wisdom every day.

I feared the future
until I realized that
life just kept getting
better.

So do you have any fears?
One of my fears is not being the best of me. You know dying a sad, unfulfilled woman. But I’ve learned everyday to live my own life, stick with God and enjoy every moment as a happy person. The past is past. The future is definitely bright but right now, at this moment, I’m the happiest lady in the world....

What’s your fear?

So, here I am, encouraging us to lose the fear and tell God about it (Please Read 1 Peter 5:7) and live a happier life....
Hugs!!!!

Hanging out with my mind (2)

“Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, the just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while” – Steve Jobs
Hello Dear,
How are you doing....
Was super bored today at work and decided to 'TRY' to be creative. Ok, I know that one of the beauty of creativity is not being afraid to fail and all and trust me, I'm trying to not being afraid of what my 'artsy' stuff looks like {Honestly, still building my self confidence  :))}
So, thanks to Mr. Boredom, I did THIS at work today....Trying to be a 'Picasso'

Called it choco-cream (LOL) and did it for you all, with a touch of LOVE and smiles.
Also, wrote this poem...
“Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try” – Dr. Seuss

NEW SONG By Ijeoma U.
Friday Morning, listening to endless nothings
Seconds per seconds, the buzz is loud and clear

Seeming to never STOP
The tune is rocking

Never heard a beat like this
It’s really awesome, like, a peek of the burg khalifa

DJ must be doing a great job
Cos I dig this song

Others are dancing next to me
The nothingness of its lyrics sticks

Never knew silence is this interesting
Track after track I listen

Waiting, staring, pacing
But it doesn't seem to stop

I don’t want it to stop
It’s becoming cancerous

It’s a love-hate relationship I think
Tilting to love with every second

Never knew silence is this interesting
Track after track, I keep listening.

The End.
“We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down.”

In a way, I'm grateful to God for the boredom 'cos without it I wouldn't have being 'creative'. LOL.
Do yours too. Be simple as you go about it...
Loved hanging out with my mind today, and with YOU. Be CREATIVE!!!

Thank you so much for reading. Tu as Amazing.

'MUSINGS'

Hello :)

How are you doing?
I read this yesterday and would like to know your thoughts on it. (Please!!!)

Life is...
a dream for the wise
a game for the fool
a comedy for the rich
and a tragedy for the poor
There are so many in tragic situations whose lives are being played by fools who have the power to change the situations but are way too corrupt, and a handful of comedian who can actually do something but don't and think of life as a comedy while most of the so called wise people are no longer wise because all they do is dream.
I sort of agree with the writer of the piece  but here's what I really think:
The wise have to keep dreaming 'cos that's how they cook up ways to help the world. They aren't magicians and can't work on a whim.
Not 'all' rich people laugh at this life. Maybe happy. Maybe a little bit grateful for their achievements. But they never abandon the world to it's own shortcomings. There are a handful of 'rich people' who help out and seek ways to make life better.
For some poor people, life is a challenge, maybe tragic, but many swim out of it (eventually).
Is life a game for the fool? Yes. But you notice that sometimes, they get caught in their own game. You know, justice is served eventually.

That's my own interpretation of the the 'piece'. Please, tell me yours.

Also, I think that we should live a selfless life. I used to say life is vanity. I always ask questions such as 'why do I have to go school? Why do I need a professional certification?' The 'whys' became endless after a while. Anyways, I learnt that regardless of the vanity in life, we need to gain all of that to make someone's life better. Whether it's a child, a wife, a loved ones, a family in Cambodia  etc, we live and acquire life's vanity so that someone can be happy (We can't go to the grave with our money and fancy clothes. And even if we do, they would rot. Right?)...

Have a great weekend!!! Have fun!!!! Show someone some love :)
